London offers a tremendous variety of parks, conservation areas, and gardens. Victoria Park in downtown London is a frequent venue for large community events and festivals.

City services include 12 outdoor public pools, 13 wading pools, and 12 spray pads during the summer. The city operates 11 hockey arenas and skating rinks. Golfers can enjoy a number of city-run and private courses both within the city and in surrounding areas, with over 30 local destinations.
