Associate Position at University Health Network

Overview

The Division of Rheumatology is seeking applications for a Clinical Associate (Physician) to provide locum coverage of rheumatology clinical services for a year at UHN. The successful candidate is expected to provide excellent rheumatologic clinical care in the outpatient setting to patients with predominantly inflammatory conditions. Expertise/comfort in caring for patients with vasculitis and multi-system inflammatory disease would be an asset. There is also opportunity to care for patients with rheumatic complications of oncologic treatments if desired, although this is negotiable. Clinical activities will include 4-7 half-day clinics per week (negotiable). There may also be opportunities to participate in undergraduate, ambulatory clerkship, and postgraduate teaching in conjunction with the clinical work if desired. Participation with the in-patient consultation service and on-call roster is possible if desired.
