Fast faced community clinic practice with two other experienced Rheumatologists (Bailey Dyck and Henry Averns) and a nurse who assists with DMARD counselling and biologic applications. I work out of a single clinic room with a shared break area separate from the clinical space. Labs are done at lifelabs and dynacare, most xrays are done through local community xray clinics. On call/emergent issues are seen at Kingston General Hospital by the Queen’s Rheumatology team. Potential candidates are easy going, flexible, responsible, and organized, and are able to laugh at Henry’s bad sense of humor. Great position for a new grad to receive mentoring and support from the other Rheumatologists available at the clinic.
