RheumCareers Programs for Ontario Rheumatology Residents
RheumCareers offers two programs for rheumatology residents in Ontario:
Community Elective Program
Our Royal College-approved Community Elective Program for Rheumatology Residents offers participants the opportunity to complete their program’s community elective requirements in a different environment than their medical school.
Discover a Community Program
Our Discover a Community In-Need program gives the next generation of rheumatologists an opportunity to explore a community in-need and scope out what its like to work and live there.
Participants are matched with a nearby rheumatologist who can answer questions about the area, and have the option to visit the community with eligible travel expenses covered without obligation by the ORA.
