1) Our centre is the only community-based clinic in the province of Ontario with Ministry of Health funding for Allied Health providers. 2) We are a dedicated educational hub for UofT Pain Medicine and PM&R trainees, we offer Family Practice and other electives, and we accept chiropractic, nursing, ND interns and residents for shadowing. 3) We have strong links with the Toronto Academic Pain Medicine Institute (TAPMI) as well as all GIM, medical subspecialties, and surgery, at the downtown Toronto core. 4) We have an extensive referral basis for neuropathic and musculoskeletal acute and chronic conditions. 5) We are a proliferative clinical research facility and have our own research staff. 6) The Pain and Wellness Centre is housed in a 7400 sq.ft free standing facility, with its own parking, high end gym for our patients, several treatment rooms, consultation rooms, board room and kitchen facilities.
